The role balances program coordination, staff supervision, administrative accountability, and family-centered service delivery.</span></p><p><span>This position requires availability for some evenings and weekends, aligned with program hours and client needs.</span></p><p><b><span>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES</span></b></p><p> </p><p><span><b>Program Coordination &amp; Oversight</b></span></p> <p><span>Coordinate the day-to-day operations of the Supervised Access Program, ensuring services are delivered safely, consistently, and in accordance with program policies, court orders, and best practices.</span></p> <p><span>Ensure a child-focused, neutral, and trauma-informed approach to all services.</span></p> <p><span>Monitor program capacity, scheduling, waitlists, and service delivery.</span></p> <p><span><b>Staff &amp; Monitor Supervision</b></span></p> <p><span>Provide supervision, guidance, and support to SAP staff and supervised access monitors.</span></p> <p><span>Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, training, and scheduling of monitors.</span></p> <p><span>Facilitate team meetings, case reviews, and ongoing professional development.</span></p> <p><b><span>Client &amp; Case Coordination</span></b></p> <p><span>Oversee intake processes, orientation of families, and service planning.</span></p> <p><span>Support staff with complex family dynamics, high-conflict situations, and safety planning.</span></p> <p><span>Liaise with parents, caregivers, lawyers, courts, child protection workers, and other professionals as required.</span></p> <p><span>Ensure clear communication of program expectations, boundaries, and policies to families.</span></p> <p><b><span>Risk Management &amp; Safety</span></b></p> <p><span>Ensure program compliance with safety protocols, incident reporting, and risk-management practices.</span></p> <p><span>Respond to incidents or concerns in a timely, professional, and documented manner.</span></p> <p><span>Support staff in managing challenging behaviours, conflict, and emotionally charged situations.</span></p> <p><b><span>Administration &amp; Accountability</span></b></p> <p><span>Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records, statistics, and reports.</span></p> <p><span>Prepare reports and documentation for funders, courts, and internal accountability.</span></p> <p><span>Contribute to policy development, program evaluation, and quality improvement.</span></p> <p><span>Participate in agency-wide initiatives, committees, and accreditation activities.</span></p> <p><b><span>Community &amp; System Collaboration</span></b></p> <p><span>Build and maintain effective relationships with community partners, courts, and referral sources.</span></p> <p><span>Participate in inter-agency meetings and working groups related to family justice and child well-being.</span></p> <p><span>Support public education and outreach related to supervised access services.</span></p> <p><b><span>ABOUT YOU</span></b></p> <p><span>You are a calm, organized, and child-centered professional with:</span><span></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Social Work, Child and Youth Care, Psychology, or a related field.</span></li> <li><span>Experience working with families involved in separation, divorce, child welfare, or the family court system.</span></li> <li><span>Strong understanding of high-conflict family dynamics, domestic violence, child development, and the impact of trauma on children.</span></li> <li><span>Experience supervising staff or volunteers, or coordinating a program (an asset).</span></li> <li><span>Strong risk assessment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.</span></li> <li><span>Excellent communication and conflict-management skills.</span></li> <li><span>Ability to maintain neutrality, professionalism, and clear boundaries.</span></li> <li><span>Strong organizational and administrative abilities.</span></li> <li><span>Proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office and client databases.</span></li> <li><span>Commitment to equity, inclusion, and trauma-informed practice.</span></li></ul> <p><span>Language Requirements</span><span></span></p> <ul type="disc"> <li><span>Fluency in English and French is required; additional languages are an asset.</span></li> </ul> <p><span>&nbsp;</span><b><span>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</span></b></p> <ul><li><span>Proof of legal entitlement to work in Canada.</span></li> <li><span>Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check.</span></li> <li><span>Availability for evening and weekend work.</span></li> </ul> <p><b><span>WORKING AT FSO-SFO</span></b></p> <p><span>FSO-SFO is an equal opportunity employer.
